By placing distance between your camera body and lens, focusing distance is shortened and the magnifying effect of your subject is created. The kit contains two extension tubes of 10mm and 16mm in length. The extension tubes can be used independently or added together for extreme macro photography. No other optical components are added with this kit, the image preserves the original optical properties of the lens. Tips: Attach the lens to the extension tube, then mount onto camera the same way a lens normally does. Each ring brings you closer to the subject as you increase the distance between lens and camera. Different lens lengths will require a different distance to be used from the subject, if the subject is not in focus move the camera closer or further from the subject until the subject comes into focus.
