- DIMENSIONS: The surface roughness specimens feature grade AA values displayed in microinch and micron values accurate to within ±12% of the nominal values; each of the 30 specimens made of electro-formed solid nickel is 0.875" by 0.375" in size
- EASY COMPARISON: Each type of surface finish is accurately and consistently reproduced to give the operator a realistic idea of the feel, appearance, and texture of the machined components; they can be easily compared with a loupe or by utilizing the scratch test
