Freedomland U.S.A.

On CD for the first time, this album is now reissued with rare bonus tracks performed by Ethel Merman, Peter Lawford, and Jule Styne himself. Freedomland U.S.A. was a 205-acre entertainment park in The Bronx, and to celebrate its opening in June 1960, composers Jule Styne and George Weiss were commissioned to produce a souvenir album consisting of songs appropriate to the park theme areas.
