Its unique serial number is factory-programmed, making it easy to track. This feature is important for government identity management projects. The Live Finger Detection feature that rejects fake fingers made from silicone, rubber, or play-doh, and its rugged sensor with a 14mm thick sensor make it a secure, durable fingerprint sensor.
