Description
- Clean Removal From Most Surfaces: Natural rubber-based adhesive provides dependable holding power while allowing clean removal from most compatible surfaces without leaving gummy residue.
- 60 Yards of Extended Coverage: Each pack includes one 1 roll containing 60 yards, or 180 feet, of gaffers tape. The longer roll provides ample material for productions, studios, theaters, event crews, and frequent cable-management tasks.
- Low-Gloss Non-Reflective Finish: Polyethylene-coated cloth is laminated to a low-gloss film that helps minimize distracting reflections under stage lighting and on camera. Ideal for applications where reduced tape visibility creates a cleaner production setup.
- Durable, Conformable Construction: The 12-mil, 76-mesh cloth backing conforms well to curved and irregular surfaces without twisting or curling. Excellent resistance to water, vapor, and abrasion supports demanding indoor and outdoor applications.

T.R.U. CGT-80 is 12 mils thick, 76 mesh. High quality polyethylene coated cloth laminated to a low gloss finish film, coated with a Natural Rubber based adhesive. Tape will conform well to irregular surfaces, and will not twist or curl. Excellent water, vapor and abrasion resistance. Clean removal on most surfaces (surface type & dwell time may affect performance). Suitable for entertainment type applications (concerts, trade shows, etc.) where minimal visibility of tape is desired. Used for holding down cable, wires, electrical cords, and in stage set-ups for marking placement (i.e. "spike" tape). Suitable as a book binding tape for seaming & reinforcement. Peel adhesion: 29 oz/in. Roll unwind: 39 oz/in. Tensile: 36 lb/in. Temperature resistance: -31 F to 176 F. 3" neutral core/carton. The tape, also known as gaffer or gaffers' tape, is printable and suitable for a range of applications including wire and equipment labeling as well as temporary cable hold down and sealing. NOTE: Sizes will be the tape industry standard metric sizes, ex. 12mm for every 1/2 inch of nominal value tape width (Rolls are give or take 5% wider or narrower than the nominal size).
