• STRONG BIRCH WOOD 8MM 3-PLY 14 X 6.5 SHELL FOR A FULL AND ROUND SOUND: The enhanced lows and highs of birch wood offer a good balance of tone to crispness and the enhanced high-end help snares made from this wood project well. Compared to maple, birch has a more aggressive and brighter tone with very good projection, and this drum has a more balanced tone than beech wood which tends to be heavier on the lower frequencies.
