Gardenia jasminoides is the botanical name of Gardenia Essential Oil which is extracted from the flowers of Gardenia through enfleurage process in which flower petals are soaked in fat, which absorbs most of the aromatic constituents of the petals. Then the aromatic fat is washed with alcohol to dissolve the fragrant molecules into the alcohol. Finally, the alcohol is separated from the fat and allowed to evaporate, leaving behind the Gardenia absolute. It has a characteristic sweet aroma that sees it feature as an important ingredient in perfumery and aromatherapy. It is also referred to as "White Angel".

Directions for Use:

Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.

Topical use: Apply one to two drops to the desired area.

If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor's care, consult the physician. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions.
