Most of us live out our daily lives without really dwelling much on abstract thoughts. What if our history had unfolded very differently? What would our lives be like today if the Axis powers had won World War II; if the Confederarcy had won the Civil War, or if the British had won the Revolutionary War?
What if someone were to travel backward in time and, either intentionally or accidentally, effect changes to the timeline?
How would anyone other than those responsible even be aware that any changes had occurred?

General Leonard â€œLanceâ€ Beller was a veteran combat soldier.
He had commanded the Pennsylvania Army National Guardâ€™s 28th â€œIron Divisionâ€ for several years, participating in numerous annual summer training encampments at the GAP. The 2014 exercises were expected to be fairly routine, with two notable exceptions: the â€œfirst timeâ€ participation of forces from a NATO member (UK) and expected â€˜marginalâ€™ disruptions in communications caused by an immense solar flare (the largest in recorded history) on Friday June 13th.
