The Iliad & The Odyssey
The Genie Super Tower ST-20 is a material lift with a 21' 2.5" (6.46 m) maximum lifting height, 800 lbs (363 kg) capacity, and weighs 507 lbs.
The ST-20's compact design fits through single doors for easy access, and includes steel fork extensions measuring 30" (l) by 2" (w) by 3" (d). The lift can be used as a single unit or can be combined with two or more lifts to support trusses.
The ST-20 aluminum mast has a flat black anodized finish to blend in backstage for use in theatrical productions, and a one-speed manual winch for lifting and lowering which is reversible and locks in place when the handle is released.
It has a standard base and casters and requires no tools for setup. For safety and convenience, a hold-down mechanism secures the lift during transport.
Material lifts are used for lifting a variety of loads such as installation of electrical fixtures, ducts, drywall, ceiling panels, and overhead sprinklers, among many others. For industrial use only.
Genie Industries, a subsidiary of Terex Corporation, was founded in 1966 with the introduction of the Genie Hoist, a portable pneumatic material lift. Genie is headquartered in Redmond, WA, and manufactures a variety of lifts, booms, light towers, and telehandlers.
