Genuine Dyson DC50 Pre-Filter #965081-01

The Dyson Pre-Filter is located at the top of the cyclone assembly. To access the filter the cyclone handle will need to be lifted up. It can then be removed and washed clean. Do not put the filter back into the vacuum while it is wet, this can cause the filter to mold, which will cause it to decay, not allowing it to work properly.
