St Ives is a seaside town and port in Cornwall. The town lies north of Penzance and west of Camborne on the coast of the Celtic Sea. In former times it was commercially dependent on fishing but is now primarily a popular holiday resort, notably achieving the award 'Best UK Seaside Town' from the British Travel Awards in 2010 and 2011. Brixham is a small fishing town in the county of Devon, in the south-west of England and is situated at the southern end of Torbay, across the bay from Torquay. The town is hilly and built around the harbour which remains in use as a dock for fishing trawlers. It has a focal tourist attraction in the replica of Sir Francis Drake's ship the Golden Hind that is permanently moored there. Terry Harrison's painting of the beautiful sea port is peaceful and calm; as the clouds gather above, the boats sit in the harbour after a hard day's work of fishing.
