Spread over a surface (board/panel/paper/canvas) using a dry palette knife or use a bit of water on your palette knife to create a surface more like cold press paper

In addition to the line of watercolors, Golden has created QoR grounds (pronounced core) to reach further than the traditional painting mediums into a new area of expression. QoR Cold Press Ground creates an absorbent, cool white surface that gives the appearance of rough, cold-pressed handmade paper. Perfect for achieving a rough texture that can be desired with dry brush techniques. A smoother finish may be achieved by skimming a wet pallete knife over the ground once applied. 237 ml/8 oz jar with twist off top.
