The filter is great for looking at the moon. It won't allow the light to overpower your view and therefore delivers greater image detail at the eyepiece. The Moon filter allows 13% of light to pass through the filter and into your eyepiece.
This filter makes a difference to the brightness of the moon, and the increased contrast this afford lets you see more detail.
It does not a bad job on glare reduction.

The filter is made of metal and good-quality glass. Not plastic. And it has Anodizing Aluminium process.
The filter fits all standard sized 1.25"" eyepieces and accessories.
It can be threaded on both sides for stacking with other filters if necessary.
