2-piece design absorbs vibrations, causing the puck to run flat across rough surfaces
Two varieties available, ORIGINAL for stick handling and passing, and SNIPE for shooting
Can be used on concrete and other rough surfaces
Designed by former NHL Hockey player
Color coded ORIGINAL and SNIPE for easy identification
Green Biscuit Training Hockey Pucks are designed to simulate the feel of real-ice hockey pucks and comes in 2 types, Original and Snipe. Both the Original and the Snipe feature a two piece design that is intended to absorb vibrations, making the puck glide on concrete, asphalt, and other surfaces similar to a real puck on ice. The ORIGINAL is intended for stick handling and passing skills and should not be used for shooting. The ORIGINAL weighs in at around 4.6 oz., slightly lighter in weight than a standard puck (6 oz). The lighter weight of the ORIGINAL ensures its movement simulates an ice puck when traveling across higher friction surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, etcetera. The SNIPE is intended for shooting and features a rubber component improving durability that reduces shattering when hit against boards and posts. It weighs in at around 5.2 oz., giving it a more comparable feel to a standard ice puck when shooting. Although the SNIPE can be used for stick handling and passing skills, the ruber component produces a slightly greater amount of friction than the Original Green Biscuit puck. Roller Hockey players will also love the Green Biscuit Pucks as their travel more closely simulates play on indoor roller-hockey rinks.

First of all my kid is only 6 but he's got outdoor sticks, wooden sticks, composite sticks, knee sticks, etc. If the kid isn't at school he's got a stick in his hand and these are wonderful...he always has them in his bag and they are taken out before practice, after practice, to work on positioning drills outside, to pretend he's Kane...ha ha ha These slide really well on almost any smooth surface. They give you a puck feel instead of bouncing like the tennis balls or outdoor hockey balls. They are really well weighted and hold up impressively well on concrete and asphalt. We love ours, we've ordered some for our fellow hockey players, and we strongly recommend them!
I practice on smooth asphalt that has some cracks in the pavement. The original biscuit floats along the surface almost like ice, it's beautiful. I've even taken a few wrist shots with it. Holds up very well. The green biscuit snipe is mainly meant for shooting but you can do some stick handling as well, tho it will catch cracks in pavement and doesn't slide near as well as the original. I've taken quite a few snapshots with this puck, has a couple bent edges but seems to be holding up quite decently.
After a 15 or so year hiatus, some buddies and I decided to pick back up some street hockey. Back then there weren't too many puck options for asphalt beyond that plastic and crappy rubber. We spent some time researching and my buddy picked up a green biscuit, and it is phenomenal. Rolling is the biggest issue with any puck on a crappy surface (i.e. street) and the green biscuit is great. I haven't tried the Fly Puck, but from my understanding, the green biscuit is much better for play. The snipe is also very durable, so it's great for practicing shooting.
