Description

It's a Wood Planer made with a traditional design used by Japanese carpenters. Great for grinding wood surface.
This is an excellent Japanese plane (kanna) that seasoned carpenters will also appreciate.
It excels on softer woods like pine, redwood and cedar, but they are not meant to go into maple or cherry or hard oak or tough grain woods.
You do need to tune them up before using, so a little patience is necessary. But it's well worth it.
