Welcome to HATCHBOX 3D Products Our engineered filament is here to help you stream your creative outlet, enabling you to see your thoughts and concepts engineered into a real and rewarding reality. The filaments are universally designed and compatible with 3D Printers using 1.75mm diameter filament, with a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.05mm. PLA, or Polylactic Acid, is a commonly used thermoplastic material that does not require the use of a heated print bed. Blending a mixture of plant-based materials and polymers creates HATHCHBOX 3D Printer's PLA, making this material more earth-friendly. Because of the lower melting temperatures and lack of warping, PLA filaments retain their color vibrancy and are a common choice for displays or small household prints. The 3D printed object will have a glossy type finish with we love it: Less warping Easy to use No heated bed required Eco-friendly.

This has been one of the most popular colors I've used yet. While not actually transparent, it does a pretty good translucent. It has a kind of sparkly quality to it that makes it very nice for artistic works. A light inside definitely glows nicely through the material as well. Printing was just like any other Hatchbox filament I've used - very reliable. I'm using a FlashForge Creator Pro, and extruding at 220-230 C.
Sparkly. I love this stuff. It has a sparkle look because of all the facets and its translucency. It attracts the eye-- but small details are hard to read. My wife thinks its prettier than most of my stuff. Printing in layers causes it not be not see through. However, it transmits light very well. In fact it diffuses and spreads light- so a LED may glow more equally- instead of be a hot spot. Quality with all Hatchbox materials is superior. Consistent diameter, strong colors, wound well, no drop outs or bumps- and low cost. . I love their translucent colors. I buy a lot of their product -so recommend it with experience.
This filament initially seemed decent, but got worse as the filament came off the reel.
This is very kinky filament that tends to get tangled on the reel. It has been the source of increasingly frequent extrusion issues. It is also very brittle and snaps like dry spaghetti, although it does require a bit of force to snap.
I won't buy this again. The budget filament I can source locally is cheaper and prints better.
