The human eye doesn't perceive the infrared light. It carries too little energy and cannot cause a photochemical reaction in the visual pigments. The HQRP flashlight has the 620-630 nm wavelength that approaches as closely as possible the boundary of the infrared emission so that it became the least irritating to the eyesight of human or animal. As a rule, birds and mammals have the color sight, though not all the species have this feature. The sensibility to different colors varies. To observe the animals at night yellow is better than white; orange is better than yellow; red is better that orange, but the dark red is the best!
