Hamlyns Scottish Porridge Oats with Bran, 750g
- Traditional Scottish Oats: Grown and milled in Scotland using fourteen generations of family expertise since 1888
- Contains Wheat Bran: Ten percent wheat bran added to porridge oats for extra fiber and digestive benefits
- Stone Ground Oats: Traditional stone milling process preserves natural texture and nutty flavor of Scottish oats
- Great for Baking: Use in flapjacks, biscuits, fruit crumbles, and other recipes that call for porrige oats
- Simple Ingredients: Ninety percent Scottish oat flakes and ten percent wheat bran with no artificial additives
We add 10% wheatbran to our Scottish Porridge Oats for this variety. The wheatbran gives the porridge a distinctive taste, and the addition of the wheatbran helps to further aid digestion. Our Scottish Porridge Oats & Bran can be used in any recipe which includes porridge oats, but is particularly good for biscuits, flapjacks and fruit crumbles.
