- LEMON VERBENA (Cedron) is a small tree from the Andean Mountains of Peru. Its leaves produce a delicious aromatic infusion with distinct citrus notes used as an after-dinner tea and digestivo. In Peru, Lemon Verbena is famous for providing the flavor for the bestselling soft drink, Inca Kola.
- Add one to two tablespoons of all-natural Lemon Verbena (Aloysia citrodora / Lippia citriodora) herbs to a liter of boiling water for three to five minutes. Reduce heat, strain and serve hot or cold. Honey and/or lemon juice make a delicious, healthy tea. Lemon Verbena / Beebrush can also be used in recipes and floral arrangements for a pleasant aroma.
