It starts off so bland, so monotone over such a simple achievement. Almost annoying. But then, it slowly grows and evolves. as ambitions rise and branch off. Then, it swells into fearsome declarations of power, then destruction! Then, one whisper after the bang, to recall its humble beginnings. It teaches us the lesson: Be careful with ambition. It can be a good thing, but once you let the power go to your head, and don't know when to stop, it can be a powerful destructive force.

This is the first song I am familiar with by this artist. I don't know anything about Flobots.
This song is great to work out to. When I first heard it (several years ago on the radio?) I really liked it a lot, but eventually I forgot about it because I didn't know the artist.
Unfortunately for me, I made the mistake of googling the lyrics and found the video. That video is the reason this song doesn't have 5 stars.
Without the video, I first thought this song was about motivation and overcoming adversity and aspiration to greatness. With the video, this song is about hippies vs. the man. The artist chose to give it heavy handed political overtones, and that ruined the song for me.
This is such a catchy song that my whole family loves listening to. I'm glad to own it now.
