This is 1 Lb of the famous Hank Chapman Jr Refining Flux & 2 Tablespoons of his Thinner. This is pre-mixed Flux and ready for you to add your Black Sands, Ore, Gold, Silver, Computer Parts, Scrap Gold and smelt. This is also a great assay mix. Includes Borax, Soda Ash, Silica & Manganese. The bottom photo shows how a 1lb bag is packaged up in a 6" wide ziplock Bag. We also have included in this combo Package a 2-Tablespoon bag of Chapman Flux Thinner. This 2 Table spoon bag matches up well with the 1Lb bag of Chapman Flux as its apx 20 Table spoons.

I find it always best to pour when your material is like water coming out. It makes for better pours, better looking bars and helps keep any splashing down like you get when your pouring with lumps. Directions of how much to use vary depending on your Results your getting now. Try a little at first as you can always add more if needed. This flux thinner will help you get all the gold out of your black sands or ore if that's what your smelting. If your just melting Gold or Silver with Borax or Flux and need it thinner to pour this is the mix for you. If you just want to add it right into your flux a good place to start is a 5 Parts Flux & 1/2 part thinner by volume or 10%....Not by weight
