HARKEN Ball Bearing Cam-Matic Cleats Cam-Matic Alum Cam Cleat (1/2" Rope)
Product Description
HARKEN Ball Bearing Cam-Matic Cleats Cam-Matic Alum Cam Cleat (1/2" Rope)
- Harken ball bearing 150 cam cleats hold lines securely and release instantly for easy, precise trimming
- Aluminum Cam-Matics are hardcoat-anodized for high-load, high-wear, continuous adjustment applications
- First are the 33 ball bearings in each cam, stacked on three levels to balance and start them moving so easily.
- Next, the top of each cam is shaped to allow even a loaded line to drop in from above rather than having to pull them open.
- Then, there’s the cam radius which enables them to hold a wide range of sizes while still being kind to the line.
For high load/high-wear applications. Cam-Matic ball bearing cam cleats engage and release easily, hold securely, and work with a wide range of line types and sizes. Cam teeth are smooth to protect line and because tooth grip is not required to close the pawls. Three rows of UV-stabilized, Delrin ball bearings provide minimal friction for easy line engagement and release, even under high loads. The easy entry system allows line to engage without being drawn through the cam; just pull the line straight down and the cam opens and holds perfectly. Add a fairlead to allow the cleat to be used when lines enter or leave the cam at unfair angles.
