My favorite harmonica holder. It takes very little effort to get used to playing with this holder and you can swap out harmonicas for different keys as quickly as you can get them in your hand. I do not know how long this has been on the market, but I just discovered it and I am glad I did. If you are using a microphone anyway, this fits right it. I have used it with the Shure Super 55, KSM 27, PG 48 and SM 58. The adjustable clamp and arm allows you to vary the distance of the holder to wherever you want it. It holds the harmonicas in place with a magnet and works great with my Hohners and Seydels. I've used it in close proximity to the mic to see if the magnet would affect the microphone, but it's fine. There's no hum or any other perceptible interference.

If you favor the clean acoustic sound of blues, folk or country, this is a great tool. You can get an overdrive effect, but if you want a real in-your-face Chicago overdrive, no harmonica holder other than your... Read more
I have never gotten use to using the neck brace for playing harmonica and guitar at the same time. When I read about the HarpArm, I thought it could be the solution. Once it arrived, I was immediately fell in love with this device as it provided me with the ability to play harp and guitar simultaneously and the freedom to step away from the harp and jam without the harp hanging in front of my face. The device is well constructed and easy to setup. I love it.
I wanted to like this but didn't. Here are my observations. It is very possible to get the harmonica in a spot where it's playable. But if you are a guitarist/singer there are many problems. Once the harp is set up its not going to move out of the way when you want to sing. I found the best spot was to put it at the very lower part of the mic. Then I had to aim it up a little. This gave me maximum access to my mic to sing. But still was not enough. I still had to sing over the harp and stretch my neck to get up to the mic. With the standard neck holder it's very easy to move the harp in and out of the way. Try singing with a standard neck holder and see how you have to move the harp around. With the harparm you cannot. Another problem is that because it is connected to the stand, and not you, there is no anchor point when you use the harp. A very little pressure and the mic stand moves. That's just physics. And a huge usage flaw. If you move up or down the harp the mic stand again... Read more
