Heart of the Savannah

Her name is Savannah and she's a remarkable breed of dog known as the Basenji -- a pure, African-bred "barkless" dog with an equally remarkable story to tell. Stolen from her village as a young puppy, Savannah finds herself thousands of miles away, living with a fisherman and his family on the small barrier island of Hatteras, just off the North Carolina coast.
