The information in these pages was compiled and consolidated to help those who are suddenly saddened and shocked to learn that their dog has nerve damage or progressive nerve disease. I was thrown into such a traumatic situation literally overnight. Step one involved finding exactly what is nerve damage or progressive nerve disease (degenerative myelopathy). Step two was a frantic search for any and all possible therapies or cures. Finally, step three was, through trial and error, applying what I had learned and hoping for the best. Iâ€™m hesitant to state the outcome I achieved with my pet since all cases and situations are different and my results may be much different from yours. I am not a veterinarian or medical professional and do not claim to hold the secret to any miracle cures for nerve disease. I merely want to share what I have learned so that you may be able to apply this information to your own situation. All I will say is to not give up hope, spend as much quality time with your pet as possible, and Iâ€™m certain that by following this one simple rule alone will result in a much better outcome for you and your pet.
