Hinge plate jig for BLUM, SALICE, and GRASS
- Works for face-frame & frameless overlay and INSET doors.
- One jig works for BLUM, SALICE, GRASS and 99% of ALL hinge plates.
- Use with a Vix style bit( not included) to drill your location of screws.
- Hinge boring jigs only do half of the job. This jig locates where to install in the cabinet.
- One side for face-frame cabinets, the other for frameless.
Hinge boring jigs only drill the cup hinge on the back of the doors. This jig locates where to attach the hinge to the cabinet. The left side is for face frame over-lay hinges, the right side is for frameless (Euro) over-lay and inset hinges. Mark a pencil line where the center of the hinge plate will be on the cabinet, place the steel pins against the front edge of the cabinet, slide the center line on the jig over the pencil line. Use an Vix style bit (9/64") to drill for the screws .Not for drilling 35mm hinge cup holes in the back of the door.
