Hitachiâ€™s greatly anticipated 18V Li-Ion Slide Brushless Oscillating Multi-Tool (CV18DBLP4) is packed full of innovative features such as soft start for user safety and constant speed control to maintain the speed under load ensuring maximum power is delivered to the application. This product is not sold with batteries or charger (tool body only). The CV18DBLP4 achieves an impressive oscillation speed of up to 20,000 RPM with the use of a Hitachi brushless motor. The Hitachi brushless motor is highly efficient in transferring energy and improving battery and tool performance. The feature that makes this Multi-Tool unique is the Hitachi Auto Variable Speed Mode function. The CV18DBLP4 is equipped with two modes: Standard Mode and Auto Mode (Auto Variable Speed Mode): Standard Mode: The user can change the vibration frequency between 6,000 to 20,000 RPM by adjusting the variable speed dial from â€œ1â€ to â€œ5â€. Auto Mode: Depending on the workload, Auto Mode â€œAâ€ will automatically change the vibration frequency when under load from 15,000 RPM to 20,000 RPM. This has the effect of increasing battery run time while reducing noise and lowering vibration prior to and during operation. The CV18DBLP4 also includes many clever features such as tool-less blade change which allows a quick and easy accessory replacement, an LED work light and a battery indicator. The ergonomic soft grip handle and slim body increases user comfort and reduces fatigue for prolonged use. The Hitachi CV18DBLP4 comes standard with 1 x Bi-Metal plunge cut saw blade and is covered by Hitachiâ€™s Lifetime Li-Ion tool year warranty.
