I just returned a max cn565s2 which is there generation 2 spider. Horrible. Double shots. Could not regulate the gun to set two nails in a row. Frustrating to use. This gun is no longer made in Japan. But, nor is the Hitachi. It is made in Tiawan. But. It's of much higher quality. Better build. The head is narrower and I really like the fact that there is a specific setting for single shot or bounce. This eliminates double fires. Also the setting for the nail depth for the coil is much easier and clearly specified on the magazine. Do not even consider the max. The Hitachi is a little more expensive but the few extra dollars will make for a lot less frustration.

That took over 12 practice nails to achieve but using the guns adjustments is more accurate than only adjusting the pressure regulator on your compressor (unless your...
I've been using my Hitachi NV83A2 for siding (barn board) and while it works fine, it's HEAVY. This one is light (HALF the weight) and sinks the nails perfectly. Much finer control of nail depth. I love the fire control selector which you can operate with your thumb.
