• FIRESTOP SEALANT: Moldable putty perfect for helping to prevent the spread of flames, smoke, gas, and water through penetration openings. Each red fire putty pad measures 7 x 7 x 1/8 inches thick
• APPLICATION: Fire block putty pads are ideal for use with metallic or non-metallic outlet boxes, metal electrical cabinets, mechanical cabinets, and electrical boxes. Fire resistant putty pads expand when exposed to heat at 220 degrees F (104 degrees C) and form an insulating barrier
• EASY TO INSTALL: Intumescent fire barrier pads are easy to apply by hand and do not require any mixing. Fire barrier putty does not contain any asbestos fillers or volatile solvents
• STORAGE AND HANDLING INFORMATION: Intumescent seal is not to be exposed to water, heavy moisture, freezing temperatures, or hot temperatures above 120 degrees F (49 degrees C). If freezing occurs, thaw fire rated putty out before use. Keep each firestop putty pad dry and stored in original container
• MEETS FIRE TEST STANDARDS: Each putty pad is rated for up to 3 hours as tested in accordance with ASTM E814, UL 1479 and ULC/CAN4-S115-M test standards; Made in the USA
