- The new Improved Holmes Style Stereoscope kit is made of high quality fine grained hardwoods, smoothly finished and hand pre-fitted for easy, exact fitting assembly. The genuine leather hood, adds a touch of elegance over the vinyl hood of previous viewer kits, and the hood is large enough to accommodate people with eyeglasses comfortably, and effortlessly.
- All parts are pre-cut, pre-drilled, and pre-sanded for easy always-exact-fit assembly. All necessary brass hardware is included along with simple, easy to follow assembly instructions. The only tools needed for assembly are a #1 Phillips screwdriver, a small hammer. Viewer is so easy to assemble, it can be lightly sanded (if more is desired), stained, oiled, or waxed and assembled in less than 1 hour.
This kit is designed for young and old alike. By using furniture quality, properly cured, hardwood, and scratch resistant polycarbonate lenses (use compressed air or a soft 100% cotton cloth for cleaning), the stereoscope should last long enough to become a family heirloom.
