Heartwarming story from the 1930s about the reunion of the 5 Clayton siblings at their family home outside Detroit for Xmas. In 118 pages with a color frontispiece & internal watercolor illustrations by David Hendrickson. An early (1937) printing (orig. published in 1935), this hardcover has red cloth-covered boards with embossed gilt lettering to front cover & spine. Condition is VG: very clean, binding tight & square, pages lightly but evenly tanned. Only flaws are slight rubbing to extremities, bumped corners, & old gift inscription covering ffep. NO other writing/underlining/highlighting/coloring; NOT ugly ex-lib. Unclipped DJ is solidly Good, with minor-moderate edgewear, rubbing & chipping, light soiling.
