• The red oak floor register is fit for 3/4 inch thickness hardwood flooring with tongue and groove structure. Make the groove on floor register joint with flooring tongue. The floor register keeps flat with flooring after installation, it is not drop in floor register, if you need drop in style, please search it from our store.
• The surface of the product is unfinished or not painted, please paint the product by yourself to match with your floor color. Unfinished solid red oak wood with louvered design. 1 inch frame is strong enough to support the weight of an average person, to keep you safe when you step on the wood vent.
• Flush mount vent with sliding damper which is easy to control the airflow. Better to install the floor register in the meanwhile of installation of your flooring. Please ask a skillful carpenter to help you if you install this floor register onto your current opening. This kind of floor register is not recommended to be installed in high traffic area.
