Hunt is forced to send his men to Arizona when they get a report of a bank robbery that has left two bank employees and a deputy dead.
Hunt takes Cal on a hunting trip to teach him how to survive on the prairie. They are approached by three men that plan to rob and murder them, unaware that Hunt is a U.S. Marshal.
Clayton returns from his honeymoon, and Hunt sends him and others to help the Cavalry solve the murders of two soldiers. The Colonel in charge of the fort isnâ€™t pleased that Gray Wolf is riding with the U.S. Marshals. He believes the deaths were caused by Indians, and he questions Gray Wolfâ€™s integrity.
