The Hydronix SDC-45-2005 sediment water filter, available here in a 6-pack, is a 100% pure polypropylene cartridge. It is a perfect pre-filter for fine filtration--reducing sand, silt, rust and scale. It is a compatible replacement cartridge for many brands of 20-inch Big Blue sediment filters.
