Hymns & Spirituals for Fingerstyle Guitar

Mark Hanson’s Hymns & Spirituals for Fingerstyle Guitar is a great resource for any fingerstyle player looking for high-quality solo guitar arrangements in this genre. Mark’s great arrangements make these classic songs playable for even intermediate-level fingerstyle players. Included are a bluesy rendition of the classic “Amazing Grace”; a cool instrumental version of Alison Krauss’ “Down to the River to Pray” from the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou"; two lovely Celtic tunes in DADGAD tuning; and several old-time jazz arrangements, including “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” and “Old Rugged Cross.” Six of the arrangements use standard tuning; two use Drop-D; and two are in DADGAD.
