The I Ching, the Classic of Changes, The Yî King, the Book of Changes. Known by many names, this ancient Chinese classic is traditionally thought to have it's origins from before recorded history and written by the hero who invented writing. It has been used for numerous purposes, including a tool for divination, an illustration of Confucian philosophy, and an explanation of mythological cosmology.
