ION Audio’s Vinyl Motion Deluxe takes the classic suitcase turntables of yesteryear and turns them into something truly impressive.
Vinyl Motion Deluxe has a rugged case with a handle, so you can carry it anywhere and keep your player safe. When you get where you’re going, the built-in speakers and rechargeable battery let you listen to your records for up to 4 hours, even in the middle of a park. It plays all your 33 1/3, 45 and 78 RPM records, and comes with a 45 RPM adapter.
Standard RCA outputs allow you to connect to more powerful speakers when you want a louder performance, and there’s a headphone jack when you want to listen in private. It also includes an 1/8†auxiliary input to plug in an external music source and use Vinyl Motion Deluxe as a portable amplifier.
Finally, Vinyl Motion Deluxe connects to your computer to convert any LP to a digital file using the included ION EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter software, so your classic analog collection can always be on the format most convenient for you.

How long does Vinyl Motion's battery last?
Vinyl Motion has a built-in lithium ion battery which should last about 4 hours after a full charge.

How do I charge Vinyl Motion's battery?
Vinyl Motion includes a USB cable which can be used to charge the battery. Connect the USB cable to a computer or a USB wall adapter (not included) to provide power to Vinyl Motion and charge the battery.Â
NOTE: While Vinyl motion does not include a USB wall adapter, chances are you already own one. These are often included with mobile phones, tablets, e-readers, and other personal electronic devices.

I have Vinyl Motion plugged into my stereo but it sounds distorted. Is there a way to improve the output?
The RCA outputs on the back of Vinyl Motion are LINE outputs and should only be plugged into LINE level inputs. On your stereo, these might be labeled as AUX, CD, or TAPE inputs. Do not plug the RCA outputs into PHONO inputs. Vinyl Motion has a built-in preamp that will be too loud for PHONO inputs and will sound distorted or may cause damage.

Why doesn't the light on the front of Vinyl Motion doesn't come on while I'm using it?
The charge light will only come on when Vinyl Motion is plugged into USB and charging. As soon as the battery is full or Vinyl Motion is unplugged, the charge light will go out.

My records are hitting the bottom of the cover during playback. Is my Vinyl Motion defective? Should my platter be higher?
Always use the included slipmat. Vinyl Motion includes an 8" felt slipmat that should always be placed between the platter and your records. Without the slipmat, your records may sit too low and hit the bottom of the cover.

What can I do if I lose or misplace my slipmat?
You can replace the slipmat with any 7-8" felt slipmat. You can also order a replacement directly from ION Audio by contacting support.

Can I use Vinyl Motion to convert my records to digital?
Yes! Vinyl Motion includes EZ Vinyl & Tape Converter, which allows you to record your records directly to your computer so that you can convert them to MP3.
What is the Aux input on Vinyl Motion used for?
You can plug any source into the Aux input to hear it through Vinyl Motion's speakers or to convert it to digital. For instance, if you have a cassette collection that you'd like to convert to MP3, you can plug your tape player into Vinyl Motion's Aux input and record using EZ Vinyl & Tape Converter.
