The Nitro Wizard-7, 5-piece panga panga/walnut neck is multi-scale. That means the 7th string has a 27 scale length, while the 1st string measures in at 25.5 . Ibanez designed it that way to create equalized tension, for a more open tone which encourages sonic complexity. High-End AppointmentsFollowing this unique concept, the macassar ebony fretboard features 24 slanted frets, which are designed to accommodate a player's hand angles and enable fast playing. The frets are Sub Zero treated for a strength that can withstand all types of bends and wild playing.
