Description
- OEM Part Number: 1.5Ω-BALLAST-RESISTOR. Direct replacement for worn factory ballast resistors on vehicles using a 1.5 ohm primary ignition coil.
- Fits 1968–1985 classic car ignition systems – Compatible with many models from Ford, General Motors, Chrysler, Toyota, Datsun/Nissan, AMC, and other brands that originally used a 1.5 ohm ballast resistor.
- Metal & ceramic construction for durability – Wear-resistant ceramic body handles high heat and vibration. Metal bracket provides secure mounting. Corrosion-resistant for long service life.
- Easy install – no special tools needed – Connect the stud terminal to the ignition coil positive (+). Ground the black wire with ring terminal to a clean metal chassis point.
- 1.6 ohms actual resistance (rated for 1.5 ohm coils) – Closely matches original specs. Ideal for stock restoration or daily driving. Provides reliable voltage drop.
