In the Name of the Red Rose features music composed by Hamid Motebassem based on the poetry of Shafi'I Kadkani an outstanding scholar of the classical tradition of Persian poetry. The Dastan Ensemble is an Iranian musical group performing traditional Persian music. The group was established by Hamid Motebassem in 1991. Dastan Ensemble has been presented in countless international cultural centres and important festivals world-wide. Salar Aghili is a young and popular vocalist whose voice blends perfectly with the sounds of the ensemble.
