Operational band pass from 5 – 2400MHz, including LTE band from 700 to 862MHz.
The isolator does not provide a path for ac or dc voltages, and if applied to the device the product will fail to function. This device is not intended for applications with satellite frequencies delivering data streams i.e; or dish network.
it is suggested this device is used to isolate ac hum from between two rf devices via the connecting coaxial cable. It should be noted that each rf device should be ac powered from the exact electrical Potential. An example being all devices plugged into a common 120vac outlet, or the rf devices energized from a common power strip.
Electronic clamping IC technology. A sidactor (ie; clamping device) will be able to withstand overvoltage events that exceed 2000 v and surge currents up to 5000 a. The sidactor utilized in the mcm-4170 will withstand overvoltage surges that exceed 2000v and surge currents up to 1000a. Device does not regrade after repetitive strikes or overvoltage events.
The following regulatory requirements may apply to this device: UL 497c SCTE IPSs-SP-204 SCTE practices NEC article 830
Ground Loop Isolator Transformer based isolator provides a high impedance isolation from AC power related ground current, preventing hum or buzz in sound systems and hum bars that appear on video monitors. Bi-directional device provides a transparent path for CATV and Antenna signals and is fully compatible with high speed internet and interactive digital cable boxes.
