- Note: The Nvme SSD only work for Mac OS HiSierra.
- Note: The adapter only work for M-key SSD, cannot work for B-key or B/M-key socket.
- This adapter allows you to replace the original proprietary SSD on your laptop with a non-proprietary SSD of your choice. This is a much cheaper option than replacing the entire laptop or buying another propriety SSD!
- Please note: Not all M.2 SSDs are compatible with Apple laptops. Please ensure you have a compatible SSD before purchasing!
- In order to use an NVMe drive you must update to at least 10.13 High Sierra before upgrading the SSD as the computer's firmware needs to be updated first. Your SSD will not work without updating first.
This adapter recognizes PCIe(!!!) SSD Samsung 960 Pro (1 and 2TB), Samsung PM961 (512Gb and 1TB) on MacBookPro A1398 2015 with HiSierra OS!
