A rare plant, Original from Thailand; The grower also calls them "Rose" Jasmine. If the plant size matters to you for this cost, this is not the right plant for you. If the flower size and fragrance matter to you, this is the plant for you. 1+ years, 1ft+ tall plant. This rare Jasmine produces the largest flowers; Up to 2" double flowers look like miniature roses. Unlike Grand Duke of Tuscany, the petals tip is angle instead of round curve and the leaves are long dark green. For the old and healthy plants, the petals are cluster, long and large. This tall growing shrub has Gardenia type flowers. The older plants seem to be more fascinating in providing flowers of different shapes and sizes on the same plant at the same time. A flower stays for a long time (few days) then turns color to a beautiful pink, and doesn't drop off, and in most cases will dry right on the plant. The same sweet fragrance of Maid of Orleans but stronger; this bushy compact plant needs a little more special attention than other Jasmines. The flower is used for tea and religious ceremonies. Requires frequent pruning for denser shape, otherwise becomes leggy. Everbloomer! The pictures shown were taken from the plants you are buying. We may not ship the plant in the original container.
