Pumpable formula. Direct comparison to dow corning 111. Dielectric strength-500 volts. Valve lubricant. NSF registered H-1. Temkin load- 65 lbs. Water resistant. Nontoxic. Designed for: ideally suited as an insulator for electrical connectors against the elements. Thyrotrophic gel acts as a water proofing agent and O-ring lubricant for instrumentation boxes, motor covers, air intakes and vacuum systems. Conforms to the following specifications: MIL S-8660C (DM-3), MIL C-21567A (DM-2), Nato code S-736. Recommended lubrication: reapply according to owner's manual to maintain excellent equipment functionality. Provides excellent lubrication and sealing properties for plug and gate valves, stuffing boxes, O-rings and vacuum and pressure systems. Not recommended for: surfaces to be painted. Appearance: clear/translucent to opaque gel. NLGI grade: 3. Dielectric breakdown: 500 volts/mil. Service rating: -70 degree F (-57 degree C) to 400 degree F (204 degree C). Personal precautions: wear gloves and protective overalls. Environmental precautions: do not allow it to enter drains. Spillage: scrape up bulk, then wipe up remainder with cloth. To prevent walking hazard, pick up remaining residue with diatomaceous earth. Handling: no special handling precautions necessary. Storage: do not store at elevated temperatures. Main hazards-health effects: eyes: may cause irritation. Inhalation: viscous nature may block breathing passages if inhaled. Ingestion: may cause diarrhea. Skin: for hypersensitive persons, may irritate the skin after prolonged periods of contact. Respiratory protection: none needed. Hand protection: protective gloves for hypersensitive persons. Eye protection: glasses, if applied to parts in motion. Body protection: overalls. Eco-certified.
