Jewelweed, also known as touch me not, is a plant that grows wild in Missouri. The small seed pods, when touched, actually burst open, throwing the seed for quite a distance. This plant has been used successfully for years to help clear up poison ivy. We have been wildcraft harvesting and extracting it for a few years as well as making soap with the extract.
