The John Guest reducer is made of acetal copolymer plastic and has tube and stem connectors. This fitting connects tubing of different diameters going in the same direction to extend a straight run. This fitting is made of acetal copolymer plastic, which has low moisture absorption, high tensile and flexural strength, and is hard and fatigue resistant. It is suitable for soft metal, plastic tubes, air, or inert gases. This fitting meetings National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) standards 14, 51, and 61 for plastic piping systems, food equipment materials, and use with drinking (potable) water.
