When is a whistle blower a traitor? When is a traitor a patriot? When Anonymous with the help of black ops veteran Colonel Horton tracks Rain down in Tokyo, Rain cannot resist another offer: a multi-million dollar payday for the --natural causes--demise of four hardened assassins assigned to eliminate a world famous whistle blower in the heart of Moscow. But the opposition on this job is going to be too much for even Rain to pull it off alone. He will need the help of his regulars: his partner, the former Marine sniper, Dox, also Larison from a previous op who will cover his back, as well as a long lost partner, now ready to make up for lost time. The whistle blower is a pawn between superpowers and the epic battle between the NSA and Anonymous will play itself out from the main shopping districts of Tokyo to the glitz and glamour of modern day Moscow. These four lone wolf killers along with Anonymous will have to survive behind the iron curtain, adjust to a changing op, entanglements with FBI and seals, and prevent the national security state in silencing the whistle blower and preventing him from revealing even more secrets that affect not only each citizen from the United States but in fact every person in the whole world.

I have not written a review before. But after trying to read this story I felt compelled to do so. Of the 1000 or more titles I have read from Amazon this is clearly the worst. I can look past the plot and story line deficiencies. I did not expect the writer to be as skilled as Barry Eisler. The grammatical and punctuation errors make it almost unreadable. If no-one is available to proofread these stories before they are released I am offering my services free of charge.
The premise was okay. The actual reading was very difficult. I would surmise that the author used spell check and had no one actually read the novella prior to publishing. The amount of homophones is incredible. That really takes away from the reading. I wood knot recommend anyone waisting there thyme.
I started this story with hopes of getting a John Rain fix, but halfway into the 2nd chapter I gave up trying to get past the multiple spelling and grammatical errors and typos. Even Barry Eisler has some errors creep in after checking his work multiple times (I sent several emails to him with corrections on one of his books), but this story just has too many to make it readable. A simple reading by a third person (who can speak write, and spell English) would have caught most of the worst errors. I did not get far enough into the story to decide if I liked it because I just couldn't get past all the errors. From what I did read he seems to get the general gist of the style, though in a rather simplistic way. My look inside on Amazon led me to believe that this might be one of the better efforts to enter Barry Eisler's world, but I now hope that impression was incorrect.
