#While caution is probably to be advised for those unfamiliar with the themes of female domination and humiliation, these diaries are highly recommended to anyone who has an interest in these themes. The vivid descriptions of breathtaking and highly imaginative cruelty are, in my opinion, unparalleled even amongst the most well known authors in the genre. The fact that these sometimes extreme events describe real life experiences only serve to make reading about them that much more exciting.

Simply put, these diary entries are immensely erotic and are well crafted, both in their planning and execution and their writing. For myself, I have read femdom erotica widely and Mistress Scarlet's diaries are my favourite; books to which I always return. I strongly recommend all her works (including the collection of short stories) to anyone with an interest in female domination. I have bought them all, although I only bought this volume on Amazon.

# As a professional writer myself, I am a journalist, I immediatly recognise good and bad writing and good and bad narrative, and this series is brilliantly written. There is what i can only describe as a fantastically sexy edge to the writing, you never know quite what poor old bitchboy is going to suffer next - but invariably it is something deliciously wicked and original. My only (slight) criticism is that some phrases are used too often, as is some of the descriptive of the clothes being worn. I felt that some of the stories needed some tighter editing, but thats a minor observation. If you are into the femdom scene, you will learn plenty from reading all four volumes ... I found myself thinking "I cant believe she has just done that !" It crosses one's mind whether all the stories are true, but even if they are not, they have a real credibility to them and i'd like to think they are, but a tiny doubt remains. Irrespective of that, I loved all of them. Superb stuff.
