"El enredo" is actually the sequel to "Un verano misterioso." However one doesn't need to have read the first book to enjoy the second.

Sue and Steve are sister and brother. Their Uncle Tony offers them a trip to Spain. He and his wife, Marta, will meet them later in the summer in Spain. Uncle Tony received a piece of art that is a fake and is sending Rogelio Riofrio to track down the seller. Sue and Steve meet up with an old friend, Ramon, who introduces them to Alfonso and Beto. The five students start in Barcelona and travel to Pamplona and Andorra. Alfonso and Beto act strangely. Are they connected with the art fraud? Is Rogelio Riofrio involved?

It's a good, fun mystery story, but it should have an English translation. It is good for 4th or 5th year Spanish students, however, it would be much better if it had an English translation so students could understand better after reading it in Spanish.
This is the best book ever. Every Spanish student will love Sue and Steve and on their adventure of fun in Spain with old-time buddies like Ramon, Tio Tony, and Sr. Riofrio. Not to forget new characters like Alfonso, Beto, and Carlos. Let the adventure begin!
