The Justrite steel plunger safety can is made of galvanized steel and is used to store, transport, and dispense flammable liquids safely, and has a pump assembly with a dasher plate and a flame arrester. The can is made of 24-gauge galvanized steel, which is resistant to rust, dents, and certain chemicals. Gauge is a measure of thickness (the lower the gauge, the thicker the material). The red powder-coated finish resists scratches, chipping, fading, and other wear. The dasher plate dispenses a small amount of liquid when pushed, enabling the user to moisten a sponge or rag for cleaning.
